With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Haroon Rashid is a skilled and compassionate physician specialized in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Public Health. He has spent the past 22 years serving the Cumming, Georgia community, focusing on family health, wellness, and weight management.
Dr. Rashid completed his Family Practice Residency at the prestigious Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, in 2000. Following that, he pursued advanced training in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Rashid holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, where he graduated in 1991. He has also contributed to public health as an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Kansas Health Department, and Emory University.
